2004 Global Learning Initiative Award Recognizes Innovation

April 23, 2004 - Seattle, Wash.- Moonjar, a financial literacy toolkit teaching children to save, spend and share, has been awarded the Global Learning Initiative Award at the 2004 Bologna Children's Book Fair.

The 2004 Global Learning Initiative Award recognizes the most innovative educational product for children in grades K-12. The awards were announced after a "live" demonstration and evaluated by a panel of international judges. Judges commented on Moonjar's global applicability - with strong and humanitarian financial principles that can be immediately used in any culture. They noted Moonjar's multidisciplinary approach to finance for young people as most impressive.
